Feng Menglongs Tenacious Fox Spirit Maiden Xiwangm
Feng Menglong's Tenacious Fox Spirit Maiden Xiwangmu
In the realm of Chinese mythology, where gods and mortals coexist, a tale of an extraordinary fox spirit maiden captures our imagination. This is the story of Xiwangmu, a legendary figure in Feng Menglong's collection of short stories called "Youyang zazu". Her tenacity and strength are woven into this narrative as she battles against all odds to maintain her independence and integrity.
The Birth of Xiwangmu
Xiwangmu was once an ordinary fox spirit living deep in the mountains. However, she was not content with her mundane existence. She sought to elevate herself by seeking out the elixir of immortality. After many trials and tribulations, she finally succeeded in obtaining it.
The Elixir's Power
Upon consuming the elixir, Xiwangmu became invulnerable to harm and gained immense power. With her newfound abilities, she decided to rule over a kingdom hidden within the clouds known as Kunlun Mountain.
Ruling Kunlun Mountain
As queen of Kunlun Mountain, Xiwangmu used her wisdom and authority to govern justly. She implemented strict laws that maintained order among both humans and supernatural beings who lived within her realm.
Her reign did not go unnoticed by other powerful entities from various realms who coveted control over Kunlun Mountain for themselves. They attempted numerous times to overthrow her but were met with failure due to Xiwangmu's cunning tactics and exceptional martial prowess.
Xuwu: The Heavenly Matchmaker
One day while walking through a forest on one side of heaven (known as Jihua), Xuwu encountered an old man named Liu An who claimed he could provide him with information about how he could ascend heaven without any trouble or danger involved for his friends or family members who would be left behind if they ascended together at different times than him when ascending separately later on after reaching their final destination - which was then considered extremely difficult because there were only two ways up - either you had enough good karma accumulated during your lifetime so that you would be allowed entry into heaven before others even though they might have more wealth than you do; otherwise,
you'd have no choice but descend back down into hell immediately after death regardless how much wealth you accumulate during life time till death occurs since money cannot help anyone escape suffering after death unless they're already blessed by Buddha himself according
