Following this metamorphosis into an immortal being; chang’e ascended towards heavens as one among eight immortals—eight extraordinary beings chosen from various walks of life—each gifted with unique abilities & powers while living among mortals before reaching divinity status themselves upon completing their respective journeys towards enlightenment respectively transforming them all together forming what would later be called "Immortal Eight" henceforth referred as such due its significance within this narrative context since they hold immense reverence across many cultures worldwide today including ours now!
