Dragon King, his mighty blows caused the fish in the river to die from shock; with two blows, he overturned the bottom of the river; and with three, he forced Dragon King out of the water to beg for mercy.
The Dragon King confessed his mistake and begged for forgiveness. He explained that he had been patrolling the sea when he accidentally dissolved all of money's salt into the ocean, causing its waters to become salty as well. Money was furious but eventually forgave him on one condition: that Dragon King would use seawater to make salt as compensation and call out "Money Tide" every time there was a high tide so that Money could hear it before falling asleep.
Thus began a new era in which every time there was a high tide in Hangzhou Bay, it would stretch its neck and shout loudly until reaching where Money sat before. This area is now known as Hai'an (Sea Ancestral) city. The legendary "Qianjiang Tide" originated from this incident.
