钟落村的传说：南海观音莲花座前玉麒麟送大铜钟的奇遇
在中国古老的神话故事大全中，钟落村是一个充满传奇色彩的地方。据说，这个村庄得名于天上的巨钟从云端坠落而来。这口巨钟至今仍然沉睡在一个被称为“庙前大塘”的地方。 villagers once said that even if they bound three bamboo poles together, they couldn't reach the bottom of the silo. However, due to erosion over time, the water level has receded somewhat.
According to legend, a long time ago there was a small temple at this location. The temple had only two rooms: one with an altar dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva and another where a monk named Hongneng resided. Although the village was small and poor, with few neighboring villages and little traffic through it, Hongneng vowed not to abandon his post or move to town.
One day, in his dreams, South Sea Goddess Guanyin's jade qilin appeared before him and promised to send a large bell for the temple on June 6th. But he must keep the doors open that night. Upon waking up from this dream-like vision which felt as real as life itself , Hongneng knew he had been given an important task by Guanyin herself.
On June 6th evening when all seemed quiet except for distant thunderclaps and flashes of lightning illuminating dark clouds that covered most of the sky above them ,Hongneng kept watch but grew tired during an intense storm which shook both sides of their wooden door until it creaked open by itself . The massive bell fell from heaven onto their humble temple grounds while making its way down towards earth’s surface like falling raindrops into puddles .
The next morning after sunrise brought clarity; people gathered around watching in awe at half-submerged copper bell radiating golden light under sunlight pouring down upon it . Children were tempted by curiosity ; tapping gently with fingers caused vibrations resonating through air - sounds so pleasing yet hauntingly beautiful echoing across fields far away beyond these simple dwellings built along winding paths
A young boy who lived nearby suggested using ten silver coins offered by others asking locals about someone called Fei Si who might be strong enough help lift such heavy object into place without any other tool than hands alone - just like how you would hold your breath waiting for salvation when drowning underwater
Fei Si agreed going home quickly gathering courage & strength getting ready - took off clothes revealing muscular arms & legs plus wearing leather belt round waist area before returning back carrying big iron bar handle attached between two thick ropes wrapped tightly around it
With determination burning within hearts braving impossible odds lifting weighty burden against gravity’s force pulling downward relentlessly taking slow steps forward fighting gravity inching closer step-by-step until reaching edge nearing ground floor level just one last push needed before bringing entire load up high leaving behind empty space filled only silence then suddenly burst forth triumphant cry : “Hah! I did it!”
