The Dragon and the Phoenix A Tale of Ancient Chine
The Origin of the Story
In ancient China, there lived a powerful dragon named Long Wang who ruled over the skies and seas. He was known for his immense strength, wisdom, and benevolence. One day, he fell deeply in love with a beautiful phoenix named Feng Huang who resided in the heavenly realm. The two creatures were destined to be together but their love was forbidden by the gods.
The Forbidden Love
Long Wang knew that his love for Feng Huang was not accepted by the gods so he decided to keep it a secret from everyone including his own family and friends. Despite this obstacle, he continued to visit her whenever he could without anyone noticing him sneaking into heaven.
The Jealousy of Xiang Liang
Xiang Liang, one of Long Wang's closest friends had always been jealous of his power and influence among other dragons in China's mythology stories as well as towards humans who sought help from them when they needed something valuable or extraordinary like protection against evil spirits etcetera; however it seemed that nothing could make him happier than knowing about Long Wang’s secret affair with Feng Huang which made him very upset because then there would be no way any human could ever ask for anything else other than having an audience with both these mythical creatures at once since now they were more popular than ever before due mainly just because people wanted their attention even though many believed that such things did happen already long ago but most never heard about these legends coming true again until then.
The Discovery By Xiang Liang
One day while trying to catch up on some gossip within dragon society (which usually involved spreading rumors), Xiang found out accidentally about Long Wang visiting Feng Huang secretly every night after sunset whereupon immediately running back home without saying anything further believing this might end badly if told prematurely thus causing much embarrassment especially given how close friendship existed between both men priorly during all those years living under same roof sharing space & meals daily routine time shared experiences common interests growing closer together through mutual trust building strong bond becoming inseparable companions sharing memories laughter tears happiness sadness suffering joy sorrow fear hope despair triumph defeat victory failure success failures successes respectively – you name it - only death remained unshared between them till now!
