The Myth of the Ten Suns
According to legend, there once were ten suns orbiting the earth at one time. These celestial bodies brought about great heat and destruction to all living things on earth. The people suffered greatly under their intense light and unbearable heat.
A powerful goddess named Chang'e took pity on humanity's suffering and decided to intervene. She sent her loyal servant, Peng Lai, a skilled archer named Hou Yi, to shoot down nine of the ten suns with his magical arrows.
The Task Ahead
Hou Yi embarked on his perilous journey with trepidation in his heart but determination in his eyes. He knew that this task would require immense courage and skill for he had never encountered such a challenge before.
As he ascended into the sky in search of the ten suns, he encountered numerous obstacles including fierce storms and treacherous winds which threatened to disrupt his concentration.
Despite these challenges, Hou Yi persevered using his wit and cunning tactics. He observed each sun carefully noting their movements patterns until finally locating them in various corners of heaven.
With precision guided by divine intervention from Chang'e herself guiding him with her wisdom from afar; he aimed true with unyielding focus as if it was second nature – shooting down 9 out of 10 solar entities leaving only one remaining orb above Earth creating day & night cycles we know today!
