中国神话故事全集钱王射潮
在唐朝末年，有个吴越王叫做钱镏的，勇猛无比，当时一般人都称他为“钱王”。他治理杭州的时候，各种事情都感到还容易办，就是这道钱塘江的海堤修不好。因为刚刚要修好，潮水一天一夜要来两次，简直叫人没有法子能把海堤修筑起来。因此，钱王手下的人很着急，都怕钱王发脾气，只好报告钱王道：“大王，这海堤还是不修吧，总不会修好的。因为钱塘江里面有个潮神在跟我们作对，只等到我们把海堤修得差不多的时候，他就兴风作浪，把我们的海堤给冲坍了。”
錢聽了滿肚火氣、氣得胡子一根根都直竖起、眼睛瞪得象铜钤、厲聲喝道：
“你們這批沒用場的家伙！為什麼不把那個潮神拖上來給宰了？”
手下人慌忙说道：
“這不能夠，這不能夠，他是個潮神，在海水里面跟海龍王住在一起的哩！我們沒法去找他。何況他來時，是隨著潮頭翻滾，都在潮頭的海水里面；我們凡人既看不到，更沒法子捉拿他。人們就是趁著鐵打船去尋找，只要一碰到潮頭，也會給吞沒了。”
錢聽了兩眼火星直冒，大吼道：
“我怎麼能讓這小小的小小的潮神來胡作非為嗎？不行！”
錢想了一想，就說：
“好了，我自己去降伏它。我倒要見見這個 tide!”
八月十八日到了，
Money Bay’s tidal waves are always very big, the tide head is high, and the power of the water is fierce. The people who live by Money Bay are constantly repairing and rebuilding their homes because they have been flooded out so many times. “The Yellow River repairs one yard of gold each day, and Money Bay repairs one yard of silver each day.” This phrase shows how much trouble the tides cause for the people.
In Tang Dynasty,
there was a king called Wang who lived in Hangzhou. He was known as King Wang because he was very brave.
King Wang tried to repair the sea wall but it kept getting damaged by the tides every night. So he decided to go personally to fix it.
He gathered his men and told them that they had better be ready to fight against any supernatural creatures that might come their way.
On August 18th,
King Wang led his army down to Money Bay where they set up a great tower on which King Wang sat down with his bow and arrow in hand waiting for whatever might happen next.
But then something unexpected happened - all of King Wang's soldiers were late arriving at their positions! They had been delayed on a narrow mountain path which could only be traversed one person at a time!
So King Wang jumped off his horse and ran up this mountain himself until he came across a gap in its side through which he could see right over into another valley below him.
And from there he could see what caused all these problems - an evil spirit living deep within this bay!
This evil spirit caused all sorts of troubles including flooding money bay every night!
So King Wang made sure that everyone knew about this problem before calling upon his soldiers once again: "Now I will shoot you!" And then after shooting arrows into water until four o'clock afternoon when everything stopped working properly due to exhaustion from fighting such strong enemies like evil spirits making things difficult for us humans; our victory would finally come!
